German WWII Army M.35 Single Decal Combat Helmet

A rare small-size M.35 Army combat helmet, marked ‘ET60’. Originally issued in early apple green—likely as a double decal helmet—it was later refurbished at ordnance works and over-painted in grey with a replacement Army decal. The decal remains clear with some abrasions, visible in our web images, and has naturally toned from silver to a light golden hue.

Approximately 50% of the paint finish is missing from the liner retaining rivet heads. Batch number ‘3466’ visible on the rear skirt. The original aluminium M.35 liner band is intact, fitted with its original dark leather liner and drawstring. The chinstrap is complete but slightly shortened, with the date and maker detail at the tip no longer present.
