GERMAN WWII ARMY M.35 DOUBLE DECAL COMBAT HELMET

A small size that appears to be NS62, stamped on the inner skirt; the stamping of the first letter is very faint, retaining virtually all its apple green finish with some minor abrasions and losses. The army decal is generally good, with slight abrasions to the left and right-hand sides of the decal. The national tricolour has one chip to the lower right-hand side. The liner retaining rivet heads still have a residue of their original apple green paint finish remaining. The interior has the correct M.35 aluminium banded liner. The leather of the 8-tongued liner is good, strong and supple, although showing strenuous wear, with its original drawstring and having its original chinstrap present, but with the tip missing.
