GERMAN WWII ARMY INFANTRY OFFICERS CRUSHER CAP - LARGE SIZE

A very good size 58 or 59, good service-worn infantry officers' crusher cap, constructed in the issue material. Two very minor moth nips to the crown, the remainder of the cap is completely free of any moth damage. Standard dark green centre band. A matched set of officers, Bevo, woven eagle and cockade. Soft crushable leather peak. To the interior, the cap is lined in a tan cotton with evidence of heavy wear. The ersatz type sweatband is all complete with some creasing and cracking but no damage. An opportunity to obtain a good service-worn old-style field cap, worn by an infantry officer.
