German WWII Army Enlisted Ranks Heavyweight Combat Shirt

This combat shirt is a superb and rugged example of standard-issue field attire, designed for durability and warmth across all branches of the Heer (Army), including Panzer troops. It stands out due to the remarkable weight of its material, being possibly one of the heaviest weights of shirting material we have ever seen.

The design is a classic pullover pattern, featuring a closure secured by four wooden buttons running down the placket. The shirt includes two pleated breast pockets, both secured by two further wooden buttons. It is finished with a pointed collar.

For the fitting of shoulder boards (epaulettes), the shirt is equipped with two loops. The cuffs are double adjustable and fastened with wooden buttons, allowing the wearer to adapt the fit. This is a truly fabulous shirt, showing excellent construction quality and material robustness, and there are no other visible markings present.
