German WWII Army Double Decal M35 Combat Helmet

A fine example of a size 62 M35 double decal combat helmet. Both decals remain clear, showing light abrasions as visible in our web images. The shell appears to have received a secondary coat over the original apple green finish, with most of the paint still present, including on the liner retaining rivet heads. The interior features the original 1935-pattern aluminium liner band, dated 1940, complete with its leather liner — all eight tongues intact, though two are slightly delicate. The original chinstrap is also present, showing age but remaining complete.
