German WWII Army Double Decal M35 Combat Helmet

An excellent example of an early-production E.T. 64 M35 combat helmet, retaining the vast majority of its original apple green factory finish with only minor abrasions. The Army decal remains clear and well-defined, with just a single chip to the left of the eagle’s head, while the national tricolour shows only light chipping and retains strong colour. The three liner retaining rivet heads have lost their green finish, consistent with service wear.

The interior features a size 56 stamped liner in a clean, light tan leather, complete with its original drawstring. The liner bears what appear to be two handwritten names, along with a few small indentations to the leather from use. Batch number ‘79810’ is stamped to the rear skirt. Chinstrap absent. A fine example of an early double-decal Army helmet, showing honest light service wear while retaining excellent overall presentation.
