German WWII Army Double Decal Combat Helmet

An upper medium size combat helmet shell, surprisingly unmarked, retaining approximately 30% of its original apple green paint finish. The exterior shows areas of deep surface corrosion, though without any steel penetration. The army decal is partially intact, while the national tricolour remains only in traces. All three original liner retaining rivet heads are present.

The interior retains its M.35 liner band, complete with both hanging straps and a small section of original leather, though congealed in places. The helmet does not appear to be ground-dug but has clearly spent time in a damp environment, leading to surface corrosion both inside and out. Despite the condition, this remains an authentic double decal combat helmet, offered accordingly.
