GERMAN WWII ARMY DER SPEISS WHITE SUMMER TUNIC

A white herringbone twill tunic worn by a Der Speiss officer candidate of an infantry unit. Mid-war field grey centred slip-on shoulder boards, with NCO lace and one rank pip plus a yellow cord strip to both boards indicating an officer candidate. NCO Bevo silver weave breast eagle, universal green on grey Bevo collar patches, two rows of the Der Speiss rank lace on both lower sleeves. Profuse markings to the interior of the tunic, slight staining to the collar area, and loops for one award to the upper right-hand pocket.
