German WWII Army Camouflage Tan and Water Sniper Smock

A highly interesting example of an army tan and water sniper smock, complete with its original camouflage veil. This smock stands out for its construction: unlike typical army sniper garments, small sections are made from slightly different tones or patterns of camouflage. The main body is standard tan and water pattern on the front, back, and upper sleeves. Each sleeve is composed of three subtly distinct sections, with the right sleeve showing a particularly noticeable white print line on the middle section.

The hood is a darker tan and water shade than the main body and retains the original sniper veil. All original manufacturer closure tapes remain intact. Minor small nicks are present to the lower front of the smock just below the closure cord. Faint RB number markings are visible on the interior of one access pocket flap. The material around the smock’s opening, used for concealment, is also a slightly different camouflage tone than the main body. All original paper buttons on the cuffs are present, with adjustable closure tabs in a contrasting camouflage pattern.
