German WWII Army Artillery Officers Overseas Cap

A heavy Melton material officers overseas cap in a slightly lighter grey shade. The cloth displays excellent nap with no moth damage. Features silver piping to the crown and front scallop, mint bright Bevo woven silver eagle on green background with matching cockade, and red inverted waffenfarbe. Interior lined in grey brushed cotton, stamped size ‘55’, with a grey leather forehead sweatband showing minor cracking. One small unidentifiable stain to the crown area.
