A superb and untouched three-piece parade ensemble for an enlisted man in Artillery Regiment 31; the field grey-green wool tunic features a dark green collar piped in red for artillery, with silver parade lace on red-backed collar patches and stitch-in shoulder boards red piped with dark green centers, marked for the 31st Artillery. A Bevo-woven NCO silver eagle is machine-applied to the upper left breast. Parade-style dark green cuffs are adorned with red piping, and the rear skirt is similarly piped in Prussian red. All original buttons are present, and the inner collar remains fitted. Interior base lining bears the clear unit stamp ‘9./ART 31,’ confirming issue to the 9th Company, Artillery Regiment 31, in line with the shoulder board numbers.

Included are matching field grey trousers, red piped along each outer seam, with identical unit markings to the interior pocket lining. Completing the set is a high-quality officer-style artillery visor cap with red piping, silver-frosted national cockade, and a stamped aluminium eagle. The visor features a fibre peak and standard NCO/EM double buckle chinstrap. The interior is gold-lined with a retailer's imprint from Göttingen and a light tan leather sweatband. The owner's name is hand-written in Sütterlin script inside the liner. A period newspaper was inserted behind the forehead area to improve the fit; the orange forehead pad has since hardened and disintegrated. The entire ensemble is free from moth damage or staining—an exceptional, untouched example of a complete WWII German artillery parade uniform.
