A very good example of an Army Administration NCO’s visor cap, produced in officer-quality materials and displaying a sharp profile. The cap is unmarked for size but appears to be approximately a size 56. The field-grey upper body is made from high-quality officer-grade cloth, with two small areas of moth tracking to the nap but no holes.
It features the correct dark green centre band with administration green waffenfarbe piping, and a matching set of stamped aluminium eagle and cockade insignia. The standard NCO/enlisted man’s chinstrap is in place.
The interior remains in excellent condition, fitted with a light tan ersatz sweatband showing only minor creasing, and a grey brushed cotton lining. The centre celluloid lozenge is undamaged, though unmarked by maker or retailer.
A clean and presentable example of a less frequently encountered branch service cap.
