GERMAN WWII AFRIKAKORPS ARMY MEDICAL OFFICERS TUNIC

A standard 1st pattern tropical tunic with patch pockets with pleats, five button front, and all pockets with flaps and pleats. The insignia fitted is a continental set of Medical Lieutenant's blue wool-based shoulder boards with matching continental blue-centred wire-woven blue-based collar patches. The breast eagle fitted is the standard enlisted ranks blue on tan, with a ribbon of the War Service Cross. The tunic has seen some wear; there is quite considerable staining around the lower part of the cuffs, and no other visible damage or repairs.
