German WWII Administration Crusher Cap

A nice example of a German Army administration official’s crusher cap, estimated to be around size 55 though not officially stamped. The main body is in good condition with just two minor pinhole moth nips on the crown and some slight moth damage to the lower rear edge.
The cap features a correct Bevo woven officers’ flat wire insignia and a standard dark green centre band. Inside, the grey ersatz substitute leather paper sweatband remains complete but is torn in two places. The interior gold lining is intact except for most of the center celluloid lozenge, which has partially survived, revealing the original owner’s name, Zizelmann, on a small label tucked beneath.
The peak is a foldable fibre type, not the typical crushable leather variant. A solid and wearable example of this WWII administrative cap.
