German WWII 2nd Pattern Army Tropical Combat Tunic

A well-preserved example of the 2nd pattern tropical tunic, distinguished by its lack of pocket pleats and standard five-button front. Fitted with slip-on transport continental shoulder boards for a Hauptfeldwebel; the light blue waffenfarbe has faded almost to an infantry white. Collar patches are standard Bevo woven tropical tan on blue, with matching NCO lace that corresponds to the shoulder boards. The tropical blue on tan Bevo woven Luftwaffe-style breast eagle remains intact. Faint interior size stampings and depot issue marks are visible. All buttons are removable type. The tunic has been washed multiple times, resulting in natural fading without being bleached.
