German WWII 1944 Holster for Sauer Model 38 Pistol

A scarce smooth black leather holster made for the Sauer Model 38 semi-automatic pistol, dated 1944 and maker coded ‘sat44’ for Gustav Genschon. The holster features clean, intact white stitching and a single belt loop on the reverse. Inside the closing flap is a handwritten owner’s name along with a feldpost number linked to the SS Prinz Eugen Division, adding a unique element of personal and divisional history.
