German WWI ZF12 Optical Sight with Case

An outstanding example of the German WWI ZF12 optical sight, manufactured by Emil Busch A-G of Rathenow. Retains virtually all of its original enamel painted finish. The optics remain perfect, and the sight is complete with its original lens cover and numbered 2378.

The composition eye shield is present with minor cracking, typical of age. Housed in its correct heavy-duty leather carrying case, numbered 15164 and fully maker marked to the exterior. The case remains in excellent condition, with strong stitching, both side closure loops intact, and the two original spare lenses still secured in the inner lid pouch.

A superb and complete example of the ZF12 sight as used with the MG08.
