GERMAN WWI SOLDIERS GAS MASK

The Gummi mask, all complete with its lenses, has solidified within the container. Marked at the base of the mask ‘A.G.D.12’. The filter is fully corroded and is possibly not from this mask. The container has been overpainted. It still has one of its carrying straps, the upper inner lid has its container for spare lenses, but the lenses are missing.
