German WWI SH60 Trench Helmet

A scarce small size SH60 German trench helmet, with all small size examples being rare. The exterior retains virtually all of its original apple green paint finish, showing only some rust bleed around the liner band rivet heads. Complete with its original leather liner band and all three leather pads, although the internal horsehair pads are absent. Of the pads, one is fully detached from the band, one partially adrift, and one remains firmly sewn in place. A desirable early combat helmet in untouched condition.
