German WWI SH60 Trench Helmet

A rare example of the SH60 trench helmet, introduced shortly after the early square-dip pattern. This helmet retains a good portion of its original apple green finish, with surface scratches visible in areas where later Third Reich decals may have been removed. The interior is stamped ‘SH60’ and retains both original strap clips securely fixed to the lugs.

Fitted with its full three-pad liner, all tongues present and the leather remaining supple, though the inner pads are absent. A scarce piece from the Michael Baldwin collection.
