GERMAN WWI SAXON ENLISTED RANKS PICKELHAUBE

A lovely, sleepy all-leather pickelhaube for an enlisted man in the Saxon Regiment No.103. All brass fittings, complete with their original state and Saxon cockades in the Saxon style, with smooth edges to the cockades. Marked ‘Regiment 103’ to the inner rear peak, skull lightly crazed, all stitching to front and rear peaks good and strong. The internal leather lining is delicate, with one tongue missing from the liner, with original drawstring intact. The helmet is fitted with its rare original 1895 model cover and accompanied by a single epaulette for the Saxon Regiment 103.
