German WWI Reichsmarine Officers Parade Cocked Hat

An impressive example of a Reichsmarine officers’ parade cocked hat, retaining a crisp form. Features include the red, white, and black silk Reich cockade, complemented by a large crown-over-anchor Reichsmarine button. Trimmed with fine gold and silver bullion weave, the beaver felt covering remains in very good condition with only minor wear to the silk edging. The interior leather liner and silk inner lining are intact and well-preserved, reflecting the quality craftsmanship of the period.
