German WWI Prussian Telegraphers Belt Buckle

A rare original example of the German World War One Prussian Telegraphers belt buckle. These specialist buckles were produced in both brass and the much scarcer stamped steel version, as seen here.

This example retains virtually all of its original field grey paint and features the correct double-pronged belt fitting system on the reverse. Still complete with the original clip for attaching the laying reel. A seldom-seen and desirable field equipment item for Imperial German collectors.
