German WWI Prussian Enlisted Ranks Feldmutze

An exceptional, unissued example of a Prussian enlisted man’s feldmutze, size 57. Crafted from quality field grey cloth that retains its full nap, showing only the lightest traces of moth tracking. The cap displays vibrant red waffenfarbe to the crown and a matching wide red centre band, fitted with its original large Prussian and national cockades. The interior features a clean cotton lining, crisply stamped with the size ‘57’ and the maker’s details from Koblenz. A superb, untouched example that would be difficult to improve upon.
