German WWI Prussian Cuirassier Officer’s Parade Cuirass

An excellent condition steel and gilded cuirass as worn by officers of Cuirassier Regiments Nos. 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8. Complete with its correct scales, original leather waist strap, and original leather backing to the chin scales. The hook to the upper right chin scale, used for securing the bandolier, is missing. Padded lining absent. A superb display piece, especially when paired with an officer’s Cuirassier helmet.
