GERMAN WWI PRUSSIAN 4TH DRAGOON REGIMENT OFFICERS RACING SILK TUNIC

Possibly the rarest of all the configurations of tunics of WWI is the tunic known as the racing silk. When found, these are normally in a silk shot condition; this example is superb. Silky field grey material complete with its 4th Dragoons yellow-based Prussian shoulder boards with regimental number '4' attached in a subdued field grey number. All field grey crowned buttons. The interior is fully lined. The rear skirt is piped in yellow in the Prussian configuration. From the Michael Baldwin collection.
