German WWI Prussian 4th Dragoon Regiment Officers Racing Silk Tunic

An exceptionally rare example of the WWI “racing silk” tunic, notable for its superb silky field grey material. Fitted with 4th Dragoons yellow-based Prussian shoulder boards, featuring the regimental number ‘4’ in subdued field grey. All buttons are original field grey crowned Prussian style. The rear skirt is piped in yellow in traditional Prussian fashion, and the interior is fully lined. From the Michael Baldwin collection.
