GERMAN WWI OLDENBURG FRIEDRICH AUGUST CROSS 1914 1ST CLASS - SMALL VERSION

The very rare Prinzen size 4cm version of the Oldenburg equivalent of the Prussian Iron Cross. This is a reduced size worn by senior German officers who already had a considerable number of awards worn on the chest. Convex with round pin and concave rear centre. Steel grey finish with crown in the top arm of the cross. Large ‘FA’ centre and 1914 within the bottom arm. Slight wear to the finish; in excellent condition.
