German WWI Mecklenburg-Strelitz Enlisted Man’s Buckle

One of the rarest belt buckles issued within the Imperial German Army during WWI, representing the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. This is the two-piece construction variant, featuring a brass body with a nickel central domed insignia. The insignia shows only a very minor indentation, with overall excellent presentation.

Retains its original double-pronged belt fixing system, making it a superb and highly sought-after example of a scarce German state buckle.
