German WWI Mecklenburg Schwerin Telegraphers Buckle

A very rare World War I buckle, crafted entirely from brass with a distinctive central nickel starburst representing the small principality of Mecklenburg Schwerin. The double-length design features brass clips at both ends, intended for attaching the telegraphers' line reel.

The buckle is equipped with its original double-prong belt fitting system.
