GERMAN WWI MECKLENBURG SCHWERIN TELEGRAPHERS BUCKLE

A very rare buckle of World War I, the double length buckle all in brass with the central nickel starburst of the small principality of Mecklenburg Schwerin, to both ends of the buckle the brass clips for the attachment of the telegraphers line reel, double prong belt fitting system present.
