German WWI Mecklenburg Schwerin Enlisted Ranks Steel Belt Buckle

A very difficult to find example of the Mecklenburg Schwerin enlisted ranks all-steel belt buckle from the World War I era. This variant has lost all of its original paint finish, with minor indentations visible on the central circlet.

Complete with its original double pronged belt fixing system, this buckle remains structurally sound and represents a scarce and desirable piece for advanced Imperial German militaria collections.
