A desirable World War I German example with light pitting at the very tip, otherwise retaining excellent profile. Clear Mauser manufacturer markings and Imperial acceptance stamp dated ‘17’ remain visible. The rifle retaining system functions correctly, and the grips are undamaged. Housed in its original scabbard, which shows minor pitting and a single piece of battle damage, adding to its period character.
