German WWI M16 Helmet Armoured Front Plate

An original armored front plate for the German WWI M16 helmet showing slight surface corrosion throughout. There are very faint traces of the original apple green paint visible on a small section of the reverse side, with minor remnants also present on the front right exterior of the plate.
