German WWI M16 Camouflage Trench Helmet

A small-sized M16 helmet shell with corrosion around the interior skirt obscuring the maker and size stamps. The exterior retains traces of its three-colour camouflage scheme in brown, ochre, and green. The interior features its complete M16 leather liner band with three liner pads, though the inner cushions are missing. Chinstrap is present but lacks one attachment clip. Faint remnants of a wearer’s name can be seen hand-painted on the inner skirt.
