GERMAN WWI M16 CAMOUFLAGE TRENCH HELMET

A small-sized shell, with corrosion around the interior skirt, making it impossible to see the maker and size stamp. The exterior shell has the remains of its three-colour camouflage pattern in brown ochre and green. The interior has its full complement of the liner present, with its M-16 leather liner band, the three liner pads with all the inner cushions are missing, the chinstrap is complete but without its attachment clip to one end, faint traces of an original wearer's name hand-painted to the inner skirt.
