GERMAN WWI M.16 CAMOUFLAGE HELMET

A nice EF62 camouflage helmet finished in a very unusual small block pattern without any separation lines; the camouflage is more obvious on the right-hand side of the helmet and the front. There is some loss to the left-hand side as the helmet is worn. The interior has all of its three-pad liner system intact, without any rot, minor tears to the tips of some of the tongues; the inner pads are missing but have been filled with a period cloth. Complete with its original chinstrap, which is very delicate in the area between the two adjuster buckles and could break if handled badly. Not only in a delicate condition between the two buckles but also in one other area of the strap.
