German WWI M16 Camouflage Combat Helmet

A two-colour camouflage M16 combat helmet featuring plum and green panels separated by thin black lines. The helmet shows minor indentations to the crown, adding character from use.

The original owner’s name label remains adhered to the inner rear skirt, identifying service with the 5th Squadron, 3rd Chevaulegers Regiment.

The M16 leather liner is complete with its original drawstring and has replacement felt pads fitted to the inner liner. The helmet is also complete with its original leather chinstrap.

A well-preserved example of WWI German camouflage combat equipment.
