German WWI M.17 Trench Helmet

A very well-preserved ‘BF64’ stamped M.17 trench helmet retaining virtually all of its original apple green finish, with minor rust bleed in places. The interior features the complete white M.17 liner with original drawstring and fully stuffed liner pads. Includes the extremely rare, though fragile, original chinstrap. Hand-applied to the interior skirt is the name of the original wearer: “Himmelstoss Stab Res.Feld 6.”
