GERMAN WWI M.16 HELMET ARMOURED FRONT PLATE

A ground-dug example of the M.16 armoured front plate, corrosion visible overall, also with a slight crack to the plate at the very front, possibly caused by blast damage. No visible markings. A leather strap has been attached by a subsequent owner of the plate.
