German WWI Luger Holster - 1916 Dated

This is a well-preserved and service-worn leather holster designed for the P.08 Luger pistol. The holster is a fine example of Great War period leatherwork, showing the robust construction required for field use.

The reverse side of the holster is clearly maker marked and features a crisp 1916 date stamp. The leather body remains firm and holds its shape well. It is complete with all its essential components, including the internal stripping tool pouch, the correct transverse closure strap and buckle, and the side-mounted spare magazine pouch. Both original belt loops are securely attached to the rear.

The leather has a pleasing aged patina and remains supple, showing the honest wear associated with a piece of equipment that saw service during the conflict. This is a complete and authentic accessory for a World War I Luger, ideal for a dedicated equipment collector or to accompany a period-correct sidearm.
