German WWI Iron Cross 1st Class

A very nice convex-shaped Iron Cross 1st Class, marked 800, retaining much of its original finish. The cross has a strong, attractive appearance with crisp detail to the frame and core. Fitted with its original wide pin, hook and hinge, all in excellent working order. A desirable First World War example.
