GERMAN WWI GEW98 SNIPER SIGHT, CASED

A rare sniper sight for the GEW98 rifle of WWI. Manufactured by Emil Busch of Rathenow. Marked to the sight ‘VISAR 4½ DRGM’ with gun number ‘6284’ stamped just below the adjustment wheel. Some original bluing remaining. Slight rust spots also, and thinness to the bluing in places. Optics excellent with its double claw fixing points present, in its original brown leather case, unmarked with a shortened version of the shoulder carrying strap.
