GERMAN WWI ERSATZ SAW BACK DISPLAY PIECE

A rare example of the Mauser 98 05 all steel bayonet with saw back blade. Some light corrosion evidence of the one-piece steel grip. The rifle retaining system is in place but jammed. Open muzzle ring, saw back blade excellent with Imperial acceptance stamp to the top of the blade, all saw teeth good, in its original undented scabbard, which has good traces of its original field grey green paintwork evident.
