German WWI Entrenching Tool

A very nice example of an 1895 dated entrenching tool, marked ‘K.III’ with twin letters ‘LM’. The tool features a drilled hole through one part of the head and an excellent wood haft. Complete with its original German brown leather cover, all stitching intact, with one loop showing a period replacement and re-issue marks of ‘SA’ within a rectangle to the Finnish Forces.
