A rare example of the eagle headed fighting knife, the hilt of the standard eagle headed form with capacity for rifle fixing with the system all intact and working correctly. composition chequered grips. Some slight loss of plating to the reverse side of the eagle-headed pommel. The blade is of a much rarer type, being double-edged with a central groove. The leather washers are still intact. Original scabbard, which has 99% of it original black painted finish remaining. The brown leather belt loop is supple and intact, complete with its matching hilt retaining strap with the male/female closure system intact and working correctly.
