German WWI Civilian/Military Display Piece

A 29 cm display piece, widely used by German military personnel. Excellent condition with much of its original cross grain finish remaining. Features an S-shaped nickel-plated cross guard, undamaged oval wooden grip, and white metal upper pommel. Fitted into its original all-leather scabbard with white nickel bottom chape and contrasting brown leather belt loop. The hilt retaining strap is complete with a fully functioning male/female closure stud.
