German WWI Camouflage Trench Helmet

A very good M.17 trench helmet, marked TJ 66. The exterior shell features the classic three-colour camouflage of brown, ochre, and green with wide black separation lines and some natural rubbing to the crown. Fitted with its complete cream three-part liner and original drawstring. The original wearer’s name, “Bierbaume,” is hand-painted in black to the rear inner skirt.
