A service-worn tunic in nice overall condition with light staining from storage and use. No moth damage is present, aside from one repaired tear just below the stand collar on the left side. Correctly configured for technical troops, it features a black-piped collar, red-piped front skirt, black-piped Swedish cuffs, and red-piped Prussian rear skirt. All Bavarian buttons are fitted, with two angled lower pockets also retaining Bavarian buttons.
The insignia includes a very faded pair of Oberleutnant shoulder boards in silver lace, showing faint traces of Bavarian blue fleck within the lace, with a light blue underlay that has faded to grey at the edges and regiment number ‘1’ attached. Ribbon loops to the second button hold the Iron Cross 2nd Class and a blue, white, and black Bavarian Order ribbon.
The red interior lining has one small moth hole, some loose stitching, and two replacement patches to the lower lining. Two interior pockets and two hidden pockets in the rear skirt are present.
