A very fine and scarce example of a Model 1910 Bavarian Chevaulegers enlisted ranks field-grey tunic, in excellent overall condition and large size. Made from heavy-duty field-grey wool with strong nap throughout, the tunic shows only light moth activity, limited to the front skirt, lower rear panel, and the lower right cuff.
Styled in the traditional Ulhan wrap-over cut, the tunic is piped in white throughout, including the rear skirt, and retains all original Bavarian buttons. All belt ramps are present, and the inner collar remains sewn in place. The slip-on shoulder boards are correctly fitted for the 7th Regiment.
Inside, the original lining displays a full set of size stampings, along with regimental and army corps markings on the upper right lining panel—two of which are dated 1915. A tailor’s stamp is present beneath the collar lining, accompanied by a separate maker mark on the inner collar piece. This example remains completely unaltered and is a rare, textbook piece of WWI Bavarian cavalry uniform.
