GERMAN REICHWEHR PERIOD CRUISER LEIPZIG ENLISTED RANKS DECK CAP

A nice, removable white top to the sailor’s deck cap. Excellent white colour to the cover. One small stain to the right-hand side of the Reich Marine cockade, which sits above the Cruiser Leipzig cap tally that has its full-length tails. An interesting feature of this cap is that the white cover fits not only above the upper edge of the base but also to the lower edge and is fitted to the cap body by four male/female press studs. Blue lightweight brushed cotton lining. The interior leather liner is all complete with one what appears to be a small burn hole. There is some light moth damage to the very lower blue woollen edge of the cap. A scarce piece of Reich Marine headdress.
