German Reichswehr Period Cruiser Leipzig Enlisted Ranks Deck Cap

A scarce and well-preserved example of a Reichswehr period enlisted ranks deck cap for service aboard the Cruiser Leipzig. Fitted with a removable white top in excellent, bright condition, showing only a single small stain to the right of the Reich Marine cockade. Below sits the original “Cruiser Leipzig” cap tally with full-length tails.

An unusual and desirable feature is the white cover’s extended fit, reaching from the upper to the lower edge of the cap body, secured in place by four male/female press studs. The interior features a blue lightweight brushed cotton lining and a complete leather sweatband, with a small burn hole visible. The very lower blue wool band shows minor moth grazing, but the cap remains in overall excellent shape. A fine example of scarce Reich Marine headgear.
