German/Latvian SS Soldbuch

An exceptionally rare dual-language Soldbuch, issued in both German and Latvian. The Soldbuch features a striking half-bust photograph of the holder, facing forward, wearing his M.43 SS uniform with runic collar patch, M.43 cap with metal skull, and lightly piped shoulder straps.

Entries span from 11th February 1944 to 12th May 1945, including a period in hospital. The holder initially served with the 4th Latvian Grenzschutz from 11th February 1944, transferring to the 5th Latvian Grenzschutz Regiment on 26th September 1944. A rare and highly desirable document for collectors of Latvian or SS memorabilia.
