FRENCH WWI ARTILLERY MANS BREECHES

An extremely nice set of horizon blue breeches for an artillery enlisted man. Red piped to each side of the breech. Nicely dated ‘1918’, maker marked to the cotton lining. Good nap to the cloth. French clothing was invariably nearly destroyed by moth damage from the conditions they have been kept in; fortunately, this has very minor moth nips around the crotch area. All original galvanised zinc buttons remaining.
