French WWI Artillery Man’s Breeches

An excellent pair of horizon blue breeches for an artillery enlisted man, with red piping to each side. Nicely dated ‘1918’ and maker marked to the cotton lining. The cloth retains good nap, and, unusually for French WWI clothing, shows only minor moth nips around the crotch area. All original galvanized zinc buttons are present.
